STEPHEN
PARKES "Dave"
I think the thing that really came across was how friendly everyone was - no bad apples or primma donnas. Everyone worked really well together, cast and crew alike and that, I feel, was definitely all credit to the producer, in having the nous to put this disparate group of people together, who all seemed to click immediately, and then you with directors' hat on, in style and approach - which was very open, transparent, friendly, relaxed and, most importantly, patient (especially with my complete dementia with lines on the first day). The second day these qualities proved very useful because it was always going to be a little bit weird, what with the bedroom scene - however, I felt completely OK with it and even though I felt like the biggest tosspot in the world doing all the simulated stuff, I still feel that I can walk the streets in broad daylight without feeling an overwhelming urge to be swallowed up ... (maybe I'll feel a bit different when it comes to the screening!!!!) Steve |
